Chernobyl y Game of Thrones lideraron la lista de ganadores en los Premios Emmy 2019

Las series de HBO pisaron fuerte el escenario de los Premios Emmy 2019. Game of Thrones y Chernobyl fueron dos de los grandes vencedores de la noche al llevarse un total de 22 premios a casa.

En su adiós a la televisión, el drama de fantasía basada en los libros de George R.R. Martin, obtuvo 12 premios incluyendo el de Mejor Serie dramática y Mejor Actor de reparto para Peter Dinklage por su papel como Tyrion Lannister.

Mientras Chernobyl, el drama de la catástrofe nuclear, fue reconocida como la Mejor Serie limitada superando a When They See Us de Netflix.

 

Game of Thrones llegó a los Premios Emmy 2019 con una enorme cifra de nominaciones rompiendo el récord de 1994 de la serie Nypd Blue que en ese entonces  obtuvo 26 nominaciones por su primera temporada. GoT superó esa cifra con 32 nominaciones e incluso logró igualar el número de victorias que obtuvo por su quinta temporada en 2015, estableciendo un nuevo récord.
